Today, I stand at a crossroad.
Should I stay the course that I always take?
Or veer to a new beginning, and jump into the unknown?

The road I walk never turns, ever going straight,
With no objects to block my path.
A plain road that is my life.

Or do I take this new road, that veers and strays.
Covered with objects that will provide my life with challenge,
Not knowing what may lie ahead

I don't dear look back to what once was,
But only forward, to what will be.
I see the two roads, leading to different futures.
One to a safe, boring life,
The other, to an exciting and happy life.

Closing my eyes, I breath in deeply,
A voice says in my head,
"Choose…"
I open my eyes and steep forward and choose
